Last-Minute Sweetheart Tee

My mother-in-law sent us a fun package the other day with LOTS of Valentine goodies. Included in the package was a little turtleneck tee and ribbons. My mother-in-law wanted me to make my daughter a fun little Valentine shirt. I was all over that!

With less than a week left until Valentine's day, this would be perfect to quickly whip out for your little Valentine!

Supplies I used:
- Shirt (from Target)
- Ribbon (from Target dollar section)
- Foam heart for a template
- Scissors
- Sewing machine & all necessary accessories

*This shirt couldn't be any easier.*

1.
Trace your heart

2.
Cut ribbons to fit your heart shape. Pin them on and sew them down.

3.
Sew around the heart to give it a more defined shape. And you're done!

  2. Oh my gosh! I love this and the idea of it! Too bad I don't have little ones anymore, but I do have a niece and nephew due in the spring! I'll have to play around with it :) So happy to have seen this post! P.S. Love that your MIL sends you gifts with the intention of making you be creative! That's awesome!

And a huge THANKS for the comment letting me know my post will be featured tomorrow! I'm so excited about that post and for you to continue to spread the word is GREAT!

  4. You could definitely see your enthusiasm within the paintings you write. The arena hopes for more passionate writers such as you who aren't afraid to mention how they believe. All the time go after your heart.
